French luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton is temporarily moving to Stockmann’s department store in Helsinki. The current store is located on Pohjoisesplanadi.

The reason for the move is the renovation of the current Liiketila. Louis Vuitton opens its doors at Stockmann on April 6.

Huge profits with luxury products

Louis Vuitton’s business has been operating in Finland since 2008. For example, in 2020, Louis Vuitton was the most profitable retail company in Finland, and luxury bags brought in an operating profit of 7.5 million euros with a turnover of 21.2 million euros.

Louis Vuitton has only one store in Finland. Louis Vuitton is owned by the luxury goods manufacturing and marketing company LMVH. Its turnover last year was almost 90 billion euros.

The current creative director of Louis Vuitton is a rapper Pharrell Williams.
