The long road of world evolution

Civilizations develop, based on the interaction that the inhabitants that make it up establish with each other. Each society has its particularity, which is marked by the individual contribution of each member. An inhabitant is someone who lives in a certain place, while a citizen is someone who also actively participates in the daily issues that mark the course of that site. Currently the world is so globalized that we are not only citizens of the country we live in, but we are citizens of the world. We have a direct responsibility for the entire planet.

This is why, as part of our civic responsibility, we must internalize and question ourselves about what is happening in the world, and as part of those questions, we must be able to express our opinions, our divergences, which we must nurture with knowledge and active listening.

The understanding of the problems that society and the world are going through helps us to have the tools to face our daily problems.

For example, if we evaluate the reality of Africa, we will come to the conclusion that regardless of the wealth that a land can offer, if those who administer it are not oriented towards the common good, inequality increases, producing an abyss that engulfs everyone equally. . This theory is applicable to our country and following this line, educating the new generations, so that the impact that what we do every day has on our immediate environment, would facilitate the eradication of corruption, as well as the participation of society in the decisions of the states together with the constant monitoring of their rulers, would effectively reduce acts of corruption.

Discussing the economy is essential for the development of a country. You don’t have to be an economist to do it. We all “do economy” in our homes, in our businesses and being informed to discern what is right from what is not is part of our civic duty. In this sense, I cite again the concept of the Butterfly Effect, which highlights the implication that our actions have on our environment, however small they may be. It is also a civic duty to worry about events that affect other peoples. What happens in Ukraine with the invasion of Russia is a clear example that encourages us to become aware of the magnitude that these events will have in the history of humanity, because it represents a setback of at least sixty years in our evolution.

In our country there is much to do. It is enough to read the news to understand that there is an imperative need to change our reality, both economically and socially and environmentally.

We must settle the internal debt with the poorest sectors. It is necessary to propose an economic development model based on the exploitation of natural resources in such a way that they do not affect the ecosystem, since the consequences of not doing so became evident with the fires in the province of Corrientes, to cite just one example.

It is very important to promote and leverage the generation of technology that helps to enhance the possibilities of growth within the region, and to do all this, it is necessary to be informed, in such a way that we can question our ideas and those of our rulers, because it is thanks to constant questioning, that we will be able to obtain accurate solutions.
