Whatsapp now allows you to edit messages or add additional information to a message within 15 minutes of sending the message. The service said in its blogthat the feature will be available all over the world in the next few weeks.
This is how you use it
Editing a message is simple. The sent message must be clicked at the bottom until a drop-down menu appears. By selecting “edit” or “modify” from the drop-down menu, you can edit the message you sent. There is a pencil symbol next to the item in question.
Edited messages will have a mark that informs the recipient that the message has been edited.
According to the service, edited messages still follow end-to-end encryption and remain between the sender and the recipient.
