The list of youths who go up to Barça B

Act at 18:54

EST

The club has offered the renewal to eight players who last season were senior youth players

They are joined by Ilias and Estanis, who become part of the subsidiary; Almeida, Garrido, Álex Valle or Víctor Barberá can also be promoted

If Barça B regularly breaks early records, next season’s Barça subsidiary will be younger than ever. Two factors favor it. On the one hand, that in the offices it has been decided not to renew players who had been in the team for more years and had finished their contract -cases of Arnau Comas, Lucas de Vega or Jandro-, and on the other hand, continuity has been offered to several juveniles that finished, improving the conditions of a first proposal.

Some, as is the case of Arnau Solà, they did not accept the first time and have already committed to another team, in this case, Almería, but most have said ‘yes’. There are eight players with proposals.

Detail with the injured

The club has had a detail with two players from 2003 who have not been able to have continuity this season in youth A due to injury. The goalkeeper Arnau Rafús and the center back Pelayo Fernández. The club will study if they are looking for a loan to have minutes or if they stay.

Those who do have to form the backbone of Barça B 2022/2023 are footballers who have been key in the Juvenil A League and Champions Cup champions under the baton of Óscar López. The pivot Marc Casadó has had a great season and has a place in the subsidiary, as well as the explosive inside player Fermín and Colombian winger Juanda. Another band footballer, the Majorcan Josep Cerdà, has also accepted the offer.

Only the final OK remains for the central defender Chadi Riad and the midfielder Txus Alba, both with very powerful suitors, but the club has managed to redirect the situation in a second offensive and they are very close to accepting and being part of the Barça subsidiary next season.

Ilias, guaranteed

It’s not last year, but Ilias Akhomach already has a definitive place in Barça B, as SPORT revealed. He has finished the season very well, delaying his position inside and he even has options to do the preseason with the first team, since he has already made his debut with Xavi. Estanis Pedrola also goes up to ‘B’, because that’s how his contract contemplated it when he finished as a youth player. Other names such as Álex Valle, Diego Almeida, Aleix Garrido or Víctor Barberá have options to start on July 11 with Sergi.
