Taylor Swift worked intensively on “The Life of A Showgirl”, while bringing her gigantic “Eras” tour through Europe. In an interview in the “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday, the singer said that she flew to Sweden during the breaks of the tour to record her 12th studio album.
Album was created parallel to the world tour
“I played shows, often three in a row. Then I had three days off,” she said, while the Kelce brothers reacted incredulously. “I flew to Sweden, returned to the tour and actually worked on this album. I was physically exhausted, but mentally so stimulated and excited to be creative.”

“This album is about what happened behind the scenes inside during this tour that was so exuberant, electrifying and alive,” she said elsewhere in the podcast. “It comes from an incredibly joyful, wild and dramatic phase of my life. This bubbling energy has transferred to the plate.”
