The Libertines talk about 20 years of UP THE BRACKET in their own podcast

To celebrate 20 years of their debut album, UP THE BRACKET, The Libertines announce the podcast, Up The Bracket: 20 Years of The Libertines.

Seven episodes full of new band insights

The podcast will consist of seven episodes in which band members Carl Barât, Pete Doherty, John Hassall and Gary Powell will talk about their band history in the form of interviews. Also present will be James Endeacott, the band’s A&R manager, and Anthony Thornton, their biographer.

The formation already celebrated the album in March with a 20th anniversary live show at Wembley Stadium in London:

The documentation for the podcast

In addition to the podcast, there will also be a documentary. Both the podcast and the documentation will be published exclusively on the Global Player platform. The podcast show is hosted by Sunta Templeton.

Templeton on the podcast: “20 years out – we’re now jumping overboard together with Peter, Carl, John and Gary and traveling back to where it all began. The story of the Libertines is intriguing, chaotic and quite captivating, it’s a must-read for all fans.”

60 pages of Libertines in the Super Deluxe Box

At the same time, a Super Deluxe Edition of UP THE BRACKET will be released on October 21st. The collection includes 65 unreleased recordings with original demos, radio sessions and live recordings.
