The lemon mud cake melts in your mouth

A lemon mud cake is a sticky, lemon cake that is baked in the blink of an eye.

Did you know that there is also a lemon version of the mud cake, that sticky chocolate easy-to-make cake?

The lemon mud cake takes your thoughts to the spring as it tastes both wonderfully fresh and sweet at the same time. As in a real mud cake, the plot of a lemon cake is to leave the cake sticky, muddy in the middle.

The dough is very easy to make as the ingredients are just mixed together.

Lemon mud cake

150 g butter or margarine

2 organic lemons

2 dl sugar

1.5 dl wheat flour

2 teaspoons vanilla sugar

2 eggs

For decoration:

Powdered sugar

1. Set the oven to 175 degrees and lubricate the pie pan.

2. Melt the butter.

3. Wash the lemons and grate the peel to a fine grater. Add the grated lemon zest to the melted butter and squeeze the lemon juice.

4. Add sugar, flour, vanilla sugar and eggs and mix together.

5. Pour the batter into the pie pan and bake in the middle of the oven for about 20 minutes.

6. After baking, garnish with icing sugar.
