Daniel was born to a Cameroonian mother, but he couldn’t be more Roman. To assert his identity he chose to be part of the “Celere”, the only black. which has, among other tasks, the evictions of occupied buildings.
A soul divided in two. On one side of the fence, the family of origin, mother and brother, leader of the resistance to the closure of authority of the (real) collective experience of via Santa Croce in Gerusalemme (also told in SpinTime – What an effort democracy! by Sabina Guzzanti, here in a cameo).

On the other hand, belonging to the family of comrades who, despite the fascist affiliation, integrated Daniel, renaming him Ciobar, and treating him as a whimsy.
The film expands a short past the Venetian Critics’ Week and faces reality with the tools of paradox, the style of the policeman and the weapon of the contrast between duty and sentiment.
