Takeoff died in a shooting incident on the first of November.
Rap artist Takeoff, who became famous as a member of the world-famous band Migos, aka Kirsnick Khari Ballia was remembered in Atlanta ten days after his passing. Among the thousands of people present at the funeral were many top names in the music world, such as Drake and Justin Bieber.
Drake gave an emotional speech at the ceremony, describing Takeoff as a well-balanced person. Although phones were prohibited, one fan who attended the event managed to catch a clip of the Canadian rapper’s speech.

The stage was also taken over by Quavo, known as the frontman of the band Migos, who is Takeoff’s uncle.

– You’ve been by my side since I was little. You looked up at me with those eyes of yours. With the same eyes that your sister also has. You waited for me to make the next move and you followed right after me, Quavo said in his speech.

Perhaps the most emotional speech was heard from the third member of the band Migos, Offset. The late Takeoff’s cousin had to take a short break several times when emotions took over.

– I don’t want to question you God, but I just don’t understand this. I just don’t understand you sometimes, Offset stated tearfully.
Bieber performed an acoustic version of his song released in 2021 at the funeral, Ghost.
– I missed you immeasurably. If you can’t be by my side, your mere memory is ecstasy, Bieber sings in his song.
Takeoff was 28 years old when he died. So far, the police have not made any arrests related to the case.
