The final song of the 2024 New Music Competition has been published. It is a joint song between rap artist Mikael Gabriel and Estonian rapper Nublu Vox populi.
By saying the song, the artists take a stand on the speech culture of the moment and the fact that everyone has the right to their own opinion. Even so, not everyone’s opinions are necessarily true.
Vox populi – the song features both Finnish and Estonian rap. In the chorus, both Mikael Gabriel and Nublu sing in Finnish.
The music video for the joint song has a space spirit.

Mikael Gabriel previously told Iltalehti that he was interested in UMK especially because it is a unique opportunity for an artist. The positive and enthusiastic atmosphere surrounding the competition had also impressed Mikael. Nublu also said that he was very impressed by the Finnish competition.
– Thirty people are making a music video, some are thinking about their outfits and some are thinking about what’s going on on stage… It’s a great thing to be involved in something like this as an artist, Mikael said.
Nublu is not afraid of Estonians’ reactions if he gets to represent Finland in Eurovision.
– They do know me. I’m like a roller coaster, I do crazy things all the time. I believe that they will support me in this matter as well, Nublu said earlier.
