– My battery is really low, so this might well be the last picture I can send. Don’t worry about me though. My time here has been productive and peaceful. The probe landed on the surface of Mars in November 2018. The journey to the surface of the planet took more than seven months. The purpose of the probe was to collect information from the surface of the planet as well as its interior. The probe measures, among other things, the planet’s seismic activity and temperature fluctuations. It also sends footage to Earth.
