The Kremlin does not accept the online petition for the resignation of Kadyrov

The Kremlin does not take seriously the petition demanding the resignation of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov. Such a petition previously appeared on the Change.org portal.

“There is an impersonal voting, which can be cheated by bots and so on. Well, we treat this accordingly,” Peskov quotes TASS.

Peskov also said that the presidential administration is monitoring the reaction of the Chechen leadership to the conversation of the head of state. Vladimir Putin with Kadyrov. The meeting took place last week.

“Everything that is discussed during the conversations of the heads of regions with the President of Russia is further carefully monitored by various specialized divisions of the presidential administration and other departments,” Peskov said.

Earlier, Peskov commented on the issue of blood feud in Chechnya. He stated that such a thing as blood feud does not correlate with Russian law.

Attention to the person of Kadyrov is due to the fact that a blood feud was announced in Chechnya family of former judge Saidi Yangulbaev. He and his relatives were accused of aiding terrorism. The ex-judge’s wife was detained, and the rest of the family left Russia.

A petition for the resignation of Kadyrov in this regard was made by the politician Ilya Yashin. She got a little over 16,000 votes.
