The Kick-off of Friday 8 April with Peter Wijker and Foeke Booy

Peter Wijker has seen all sides of football. The former player of AZ and FC Volendam is now a players’ agent and feels like a fish in water. Foeke Booy was successful as a player and trainer and has been technical manager of SC Cambuur since 2018, where a striking number of football players from North Holland are under contract.

Of course, the sporting malaise at FC Volendam is extensively discussed. Tension builds and that does crazy things to people. Both guests, who are guests on Friday evening in our football talk show De Aftrap, know this like no other.

Booy discusses Cambuur’s sportingly successful season, which also has a dark side. Trainer Henk de Jong has been disabled by a cyst in his head, which means that Dennis Haar has been appointed as interim coach in Leeuwarden. Booy himself was out of the running for several months after he suffered a cerebral infarction in the summer.

For the game of street foot golf, reporter Erik-Jan Brinkman challenges Joris van Overeem, former player of AZ. Of course we will close the broadcast with our own team FC De Aftrap.

Almere City FC coach Alex Pastoor and ESPN analyst Kees Luijckx will be guests next week. Questions and comments can be emailed to [email protected]
