The Kick-off of Friday 29 April with Evert ten Napel and Jack Spijkerman

He provided his commentary for countless matches. Evert ten Napel is retired, but still follows football closely. Tonight he will be in Eindhoven in case FC Emmen becomes champion. The former football commentator then hands out the bowl to the club where he used to cycle more than regularly. Ten Napel is a guest with Jack Spijkerman in De Aftrap

Ten Napel (78) makes a striking suggestion for Ajax’s coaching staff in the football talk show. According to the Drent Telstar trainer Andries Jonker, a good assistant for the intended head coach Alfred Schreuder. “He was a good assistant to Louis van Gaal and is doing well with his training. He is loyal to a head coach, but I think he will stay with Telstar,” said Ten Napel.

Spijkerman is also retired. The former presenter of the popular TV program Kopnagels is now ‘chef vantjes’, as he says himself, at his favorite club Ajax. “Extremely nice”, says the 73-year-old Spijkerman about his volunteer work in the archive of Ajax. “Recently we found a silver box with three old cigars in it. There was a note with it: ‘Offered by Prince Bernhard for the umpteenth championship of Ajax’.”
