Boeve is harsh in his judgment about Ihattaren. The former top talent of PSV hopes to return to his old level with the help of Ajax coach Gerald Vanenburg.
“Those brain cells have not turned properly”
Boeve has little hope when he reads Ihattaren’s statements in the newspaper. “I wouldn’t get him as Ajax. He gives up on everyone, but forget himself. I wouldn’t start with that. Those brain cells are not turned properly.”
Zoetebier explains why he closed the door at FC Volendam last summer and left for Vitesse as a goalkeeper coach. De Volendammer breaks a lance for home-grown goalkeepers. “I would have kept Nordin Bakker, because there is still a lot of stretch in it. Barry Lauwers is also a good keeper. I would not have made it to Stankovic, because you have keepers at home who are also slightly cheaper in my opinion. ”
