Hollywood star Sam Neill has fallen ill with cancer.
Jurassic Park actor known from the movie Sam Neill, 75, has cancer. The actor talks about his illness in his new book, which will be published next week.
Neill reveals that he has been diagnosed with leukemia. the BBC according to information, the actor was diagnosed with cancer a year ago in March. Neill had seen a doctor in the middle of the film’s promotional tour because he noticed swollen glands in his neck.

According to the actor, writing memoirs was a way to get something else to think about so that he could cope in the midst of grief.
– I love dealing with people and friendship and all these things. And suddenly I was stripped of them all. I thought, “What am I going to do?” Neill stated in an interview with the Daily Mail.
Neill, who has been an actor for 50 years, was born in Northern Ireland. The Hollywood star moved to New Zealand at a very young age, where he began to build his career.
For many Finns, Neill is best remembered as Alan Grant from the movie Jurassic Park. The first part of the film series came out in 1993. Neill made a spectacular return to the film series last year when Jurassic World: Dominion took over the big screens.

He said in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine last spring that he still receives criticism for his accent. Fans of the film series can still remember that the actor’s accent varies during the film between a New Zealand and an American accent.

– He came to me in the middle of the shooting day and said: “Hey Sam, do you know the accent we were talking about?” I said, “Yeah, I’ve been working on it for the last four weeks…” He’s like, “Don’t worry about it anymore, just use your own voice,” Neill recounted in the interview.
Later, Spielberg had come to the actor again and again asked him to change his way of speaking.
– He (Spielberg) said: “You know that voice you’re using now?” I replied, “Yeah, my voice?” then he replies, “I want something in between,” Neill repeated.
