The Italian national football team bounced out of next autumn’s World Cup last Friday as Northern Macedonia surprised the boot country in the 1-0 qualifiers.
The reigning European champion is now out of the World Cup for the second time, as Azzurri also shone in his absence in Russia in 2018.
A huge disappointment was seen after the match in the Italian locker room at the Renzo Barbera stadium in Palermo. Koppi almost resembled a landfill after the star players had left. There was rubbish and half-empty bottles everywhere.
The Qatar World Cup will be played from 21 November 2022 to 18 December 2022.
