Inland and coastal areas of Catalonia will be in risk of showers, locally strong thunderstorms and hail this Thursday next to the environments of the Pyrenees and the Iberian system and areas of the north of the Valencian Community.
In total, 12 provinces will be on a yellow warning this Thursday due to rains that will be accompanied by storms, while two provinces will be at risk due to coastal phenomena, according to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
Specifically, Cuenca and Guadalajara will be at risk from storms while Huesca, Teruel, Zaragoza, Soria, Barcelona, Gerona, Lérida, Tarragona, Castellón and Valencia will be at risk from rains and storms, with accumulations of between 15 and 20 liters per hour, because of the rains that will occur after 2:00 p.m. In addition, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Palma and La Gomera will be at risk from strong northeasterly winds of force seven in the Anaga-Agaete channel and offshore in the northwest and southeast.

Likewise, there will be showers and storms on the Ebro, and east of the South Plateau. In the Pyrenees, Iberian system and inland and coastal areas of Catalonia and the Valencian Community, heavy showers are expected that may be accompanied by hail. As for the North plateau, Central system, mountains of the southeast and interior of Mallorca, these showers and storms will be occasional and weaker.
