Epic Games and Microsoft have concluded their fundraising campaign to help Ukraine through Fortnite after raising the impressive figure of 144 million dollars (130 million euros to change).
Both companies have donated your gaming revenue over the last two weeks to humanitarian causes supporting people affected by war. The funds will go to Direct Relief, UNICEF, the UN World Food Programme, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and World Central Kitchen, the initiative of Chef Jose Andrés.
The campaign coincided with the start of the latest season of Fortnite, so many players bought V-Bucks to unlock the latest Battle Pass and get new game items. Epic and Xbox also donated their portion of the battle passes given away, Fortnite Crew subscriptions, and gift cards redeemed during that time to relief efforts.
