Umar Kremlinov led by the International Boxing Association (IBA) has made a decision to allow Russian and Belarusian boxers back to international events.

– The IBA believes that politics should not affect sports. All athletes should receive equal treatment, the association argues in the bulletin.

Countries are allowed to compete under their own flags. In addition, national anthems will also be played at boxing events in the future if the athletes reach the highest podium of the podium.

The decision voted by the IBA takes effect immediately.

Kremljov, who is well-known, was recently elected as the chairman of the boxing association Vladimir Putin as a friend.

In the release, IBA describes itself as an independent and neutral organization that acts as a peacemaker in conflicts.

Previously, Ukrainian country codes were banned by the IBA, but the decision was later reversed.
