During the third day of the Sanda Dia case, it seemed to no longer be about the pleas or what punishment the Reuzegommers ask for or deserve. Everything was put into perspective after a sincere, emotional and painful moment: Sanda Dia’s mother approached Reuzegom chairman JJ (25) and hugged him. The tears flowed, the pain was audible. “Sanda shouldn’t have died like this.”
