The House of the Dragon shows its latest trailer before the premiere

The Serie ‘The House of the Dragon’prequel to ‘Game of Thrones’, has released a new official trailer a few days after the official premiere.

The advance of four minutes long gives more details of this fiction that will premiere on August 21 and is called to continue the success of its predecessor, one of the most famous series in history with a record of 59 wins at the Emmy Awards.

The advances issued so far anticipate that the iron throne, the dragons and the fights will continue in this new stage. Likewise, among the scenarios locations of the Spanish geography such as the Plaza Mayor of Trujilloset with a medieval market and the sculpture of a dragon.

The expectations for ‘The House of the Dragon’ are very high: the series will have ten chapters and will be based on the novel ‘Fire and Blood’, by George RR Martin. Its story is set 200 years before the war for the Iron Throne began and focuses on the fate of the Targaryens, ancestors of Daenerys.

The pilot chapter and some additional episodes were directed by Miguel Sapochnik and Ryan J. Condal, who also serve as executive producers. Sapochnik was already in charge of the last two episodes of the sixth season (‘The Battle of the Bastards’ and ‘Winds of Winter’), which were very well received by the fans of the series.

The prequel cast includes Emma D’Arcy (Rhaenyra Targaryen), Matt Smith (Daemon Targaryen), Paddy Considine (Viserys Targaryen), Steve Toussaint (Lord Corlys Velaryon), Eve Best (Rhaenys Targaryen), Olivia Cooke (Alicent Hightower ), Rhys Ifans (Otto Hightower) and Fabien Frankel (Criston Cole), among others.

It will not be the only derivative production of the universe ‘Game of Thrones‘ to premiere on HBO Maxwhich is already developing another series on the short novel ‘Dunk and Egg’, and the creation of ‘The Nine Voyages’, about Corlys Velaryon’s sea voyages, is not ruled out.
