The loss to Atlético Madrid and relegation from the Champions League was the smallest Paul Pogban worries on Tuesday night. The man’s home was broken into during the game.
“Last night, our family’s worst nightmare came true when our home was broken into at the same time our babies were sleeping in the bedroom,” Pogba said on Twitter on Wednesday.
Pogba did not tell what the burglars did or took away from the apartment, but the actions of the villains left a lasting mark on the family of the football star anyway.
– The burglars were in our home for less than five minutes, but during that time they took something more valuable from us than anything in our home. They took a sense of security from us.
According to Pogba, the thieves visited the apartment during the last minutes of the ManU-Atlético game. He found out as soon as the match ended.
– When my wife and I rushed home, we didn’t know if our children were safe and in order. As a father in this world, there is no more terrible feeling than not being there to protect one’s own children. I hope no one needs to experience the feeling I felt last night.
