At the Jussi Gala on Friday, the audience was awarded as a favorite Heartbeat Movie: Emergency.
The creator of the film and the entire Syke series, Petja Peltomaa, was awarded the prize to nurses currently on strike.
Actress Iina Kuustonen got involved in poking the first Jussi-up in her life. Of course, it felt good, even though it was an award for the whole team, not a personal Jussi.
Kuustonen has acted in the Syke television series for almost ten years, although he is always away and making a comeback.
– When I was away for a while and returned to the series, I realized its value. Many times in life there will be no opportunity to do some production for so long that the character grows over the years, Kuustonen says.
He also praises the wonderful team.
– But I have made so many returns that my co-workers have laughed about not buying me any more karonkkala gifts, Kuustonen reveals.
– The hospital world is endlessly interesting and I think the series there is in place. The heart rate also takes into account current issues, such as the strict working hours of nurses and the need to stretch, the actor recalls.
