The presence of saharan dust in the sky of Barcelona marks the start of this Monday, February 28. The forecast is that the morning will be sunny and cloudless, but the haze keeps the sky cloudy, as happened for much of yesterday, Sunday. The dust has acted as a filter and has allowed the Sun’s spots to be seen almost with the naked eye, as explained on social networks Alfons Puertas, meteorologist at the Fabra Observatory.

Apart from the haze, forecasts suggest that the first clouds of the disturbance that will dominate much of the week will appear from midday.
