The brothers Georg and Christian Haub have ended their dispute in court about the future structure of the Tengelmann family business.

"The parties unanimously declared the legal dispute settled on Monday"said a spokeswoman for the district court in Munich on Friday, confirming a report by the "West German General Newspaper" (WAZ).
"For Christian Haub, the way is now clear in the medium term to completely take over the traditional group with roots in Mülheim", reported the WAZ. The brothers had agreed that he had the right to buy the property for three years and could thus become the sole owner.

Georg Haub had previously filed a lawsuit at the Munich Regional Court against the liquidation of Tengelmann reserves by his brother Christian: he had demanded that he repay 800 million euros to Tengelmann Warenhandelsgesellschaft KG. (dpa)
