Bad Bunny dethrones Ed Sheeran
No one in the history of music has made more live concert earnings in a calendar year than Bad Bunny — he grossed $435 million from his World’s Hottest Tour. That’s three million more than the previous record holder Ed Sheeran, who generated $432 million with his “Divide Tour” in 2018. Bad Bunny has now released six studio albums. His most recent, UN VERANO SIN TI was released in 2022 and reached #1 on the US Billboard Album Chart. Nowadays he enjoys absolute superstar status. “I think he’s the biggest star in the world right now,” his colleague Diplo told GQ in 2022. “Bigger than any English speaking star, bigger than the biggest Latin star of course. He’s the most massive, progressive and important pop star alive.”
