The Government has appointed Joan Josep Nuet as General Director of Institutional Relations and with the Parliament. In this way, the single-color executive of ERC follows the strategy of ‘signings’ from other political spaces, as is the case of Nuet, which was linked to United and Alternative Left (EUiA).
Nuet was a senator and deputy in Congress and later a deputy in Parliament and a member of the House Committee during the convulsive stage of 2017. Nuet has defended the position of sovereignty during the 1-O referendum, against more critical theses of his former EUiA political space, and was disqualified by the Supreme Court. The new CEO left EUiA in 2019 and was a deputy for ERC.
