The government recognizes that some of the information and formalities are still too scattered on many public sites, sometimes dense, unknown or poorly referenced. To remedy this, the site entrepreneur.service-public.fr will become the reference information and guidance center dedicated to 4 million creators and business leaders.
On this site, professionals will be able to access “Reliable, up-to-date, personalized and free resources”. Concretely, there will be all the useful information and tools necessary to create, manage and develop its economic activity on a daily basis. No need to go to three or four different sites to start a business or find the right legal information. A first important point in this simplification strategy.
A single platform for administrative procedures
Also, as part of this overhaul of online services, the government will set up a new site this year called formalites.entreprises.gouv.fr, whose objective is to “Centralize all the administrative formalities to be carried out in order to register, modify or cease activity or even file accounts, whatever its sector”. The resources of ten different sites will be pooled on this platform, in particular to register, modify or cease activity.
The site portalpro.gouv.fr will be the only gateway for the declaration and payment procedures of professionals. This platform will bring together the tax, Urssaf and customs services in particular. The government specifies that it “Will allow all tax, customs and social procedures to be carried out”. Finally, thanks to a unique identifier, the entrepreneur or his representative can “Follow your situation in real time, summarized in a single dashboard”.
The government specifies that the overhaul of online services is “Proof that the French state seeks to improve and simplify the digital environment for creators and business leaders”. This strategy fits in a long-term vision continuous improvement of the digital services offered to entrepreneurs.
