Migrant workers do not always receive the care they need. This is because they encounter different thresholds in practice. Ministers Karien van Gennip (Social Affairs and Employment) and Ernst Kuipers (Public Health, Welfare and Sport) have now concluded a care covenant with Dutch health insurers to improve access for migrant workers to health care together with employers and care providers.
