Last night Finland’s time in Los Angeles was celebrated at the Golden Globe gala. Comedian Jo Koy was seen as the presenter of the gala for the first time. The outspoken star targeted many public figures, and Prince Harry and Meghan also received their share of insults.
– Harry and Meghan Markle were paid millions for doing nothing at all – and so this only from Netflix, Koy joked to the audience and received a roar of laughter as a thank you.

With his comment, Koy referred to Harry and Meghan’s Netflix documentary series, which was released in December 2022. The series aroused mixed feelings in its viewers. The content of the series revolved around Harry and Meghan’s conversations. The couple ponders their decision to withdraw from the court.
Some of the gala viewers labeled the joke as crude, as Harry and Meghan were facing many professional challenges in 2023.
Harry and Meghan’s Spotify collaborations also went down in history last year. The second season of the Archetypes podcast hosted by Meghan will no longer be heard on Spotify.

The Spotify collaboration did not go exactly as planned by many metrics.
Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Audio company only produced 12 episodes of Archetypes over two and a half years. The first episodes of the podcast were released in August 2022.
The contract with Spotify was signed in December 2020. The collaboration made headlines already because there was talk of a contract worth 20 million dollars, or about 19 million euros.
