NoTiming is key in life, as is the strength to overcome one obstacle after another. They know it well Kurt and Seyit, the protagonists of the Turkish series The girl and the officerwhose love is constantly tested by external factors. Tonight at 21.50 on Channel 5 the thirteenth episode is aired. Two new episodes in which they are forced to deal with unforeseen events and unexpected decisions. And the happy ending gets further and further away. The events narrated are inspired by a true story, told by Kurt’s granddaughter, Nermin Bezmen, in novels Kurt Seyt & Shura And Kurt Seyt & Murkapublished in 1992 and 1993.
The girl and the officerthe plot of the thirteenth episode
Kurt (Kivanç Tatlitug) asks Emine (Zerrin Tekindor) for permission to marry Mürvet (Fahriye Evcen), but gets a negative answer. Furthermore, the woman accompanies the rejection with strong words, which hurt him deeply. She won’t let her daughter marry a man who has a mistress, namely Sura (Farah Zeynep Abdullah).
So Kurt vents to Celil (Ushan Çakir), who tries to cheer him up. Rumors spread and it doesn’t take much for everyone to know what happened. Including Binnaz (Sacide Tasander), Ali (Osman Alkas) and Alya (Demet Özdemir). Obviously Alya immediately runs to Sura to tell her everything.
Meanwhile Binnaz tries to convince Emine to return to Pera, so that her son Hakki (Bora Koçak) can ask Ayse (Melissa Asli Pamuk) to marry her, not through a letter, but in person. In the meantime, Sura knows a French man named Serge, the son of a wealthy perfume manufacturer. For Serge it is the classic love at first sight, but Sura is not sure she wants to see him again. It is her sister Valentina (Seda Güven) who persuades her and in the end Sura agrees.
Meanwhile, something is brewing for Hakki and Ayse’s engagement. Kurt and Lüftu meet Burham (Gürkan Korkmaz) outside the prison and spend the evening together.

Kurt marries Mürvet, how will Sura react?
Unfortunately the unexpected takes over and the three get involved in a shootout with the guards. Burhan dies and Seyit, in an attempt to save him, is seriously injured. Lüftu takes him home and places him in Mürvet’s care. He observes them carefully and decides to intercede to convince Emine to give him the woman in marriage.
Meanwhile Petro Borinski (Birkan Sokullu) tries to seduce Alya, who discovers that she is up to something with Captain William (Cem Bender). Therefore makes an important decision: to reveal to Seyit where Borisnki’s hiding place is and they go to the place to take possession of the loot that has been hidden there.

Güzide (Elçin Sangu) decides to break with Celil. She visits him at his office, and when he leaves, she runs into Ayse, who threatens to reveal everything to Yahya (Tolga Savaci). Scared, she tries to stop her, but during the ride she is run over by a carriage and loses the baby.
Finally, the scene cuts to Kurt again. Emine retraces her steps and gives her blessing: Seyit can marry her daughter. Preparations are in full swing and Sura is unaware of everything. He discovers the truth only on his wedding day. She runs to the hotel where the ceremony is being held, but it’s too late now. Kurt is marrying Murvet and, once again, there is no future for the girl and the officer.
The summary of the previous episodes
The series revolves around the impossible love between Kurt Seyit and Sura Verjenskaya. After a thousand vicissitudes, they reached Istanbul, but their love was constantly put to the test by a thousand adversities. In previous episodes they have one argument after another and the relationship deteriorates inexorably.
Kurt is about to leave with Celil to recover some weapons and would like to make peace with Sura. However, she discovers that Sura has thrown the bundle of roses that she had given her. Before the evidence, it is certain that their story is over. Actually, once again there is Petro’s hand. She tore up the note, pretending the flowers were from her. That’s why Sura didn’t keep them.
Two months pass and the return to Istanbul is approaching. Celil notices that Seyit goes out of his way to procrastinate and he also knows why: he is afraid to see Sura again. During her absence, the woman has dated Petro, but she is not in love with him. On the contrary, her proximity to Borinski has cleared her ideas even more: she misses Kurt. Unfortunately, there are still many obstacles to overcome and love alone is not enough.
