Per Seyit and Sura, the protagonists of the Turkish series The girl and the officerthe unexpected did not end. In the sixth episode – broadcast tonight at around 21.40 on Canale 5 and available in streaming on Mediaset Infinity – the dream of living a quiet life recedes. And Sura, distant from her mother and sisters, feels more and more alone. The series is based on a true story, written by Nermin Bezmen. In the bestseller, entitled Kurt Seyit and Shuratells the love story between his grandfatherthe Turkish soldier Kurt Seyit Eminof, and the Russian Alexandra Verjenskaya.
The girl and the officerthe plot of the sixth episode
In episode 16 – the first of three broadcast this week – after a daring escape, Seyit (Kivanc Tatlitug) and Sura (Farah Zeynep Abdullah) find refuge in Yahya’s (Tolga Savaci) hotel. They seem to have finally found some peace of mind, but the peace ends when an English soldier attacks a girl guest of the same structure.
Ali (Osman Alkas), the girl’s father, and Seyit himself promptly intervene. The latter kills the soldier, but the troubles are not over. They have to make the body disappear without being discovered. They think they have succeeded, but then after someone finds him and to pay the consequences is Yahya, who is arrested.
Meanwhile Sura continues to suffer for all the obstacles he has to overcome. He hoped for a different life, but reality is far from what he dreamed of. Consequentially, her anxieties spill over to the relationship with Seyit. She senses him distant, cold, and she’s afraid he’s hiding something from her. Not getting certain answers, she decides to focus on herself and works hard to find a job.
Seyit sees Petro and Celil again
The seventeenth episode opens with a new arrest. Once the matter of the British soldier was closed, the police return to the hotel again and pick up Yahya. Seyit does everything to get him released and meets Yahya’s nephew, Lieutenant Billy (Cem Bender).
These confides to him that the following evening would like to celebrate his birthday in the hotel. On the same night, Ali has an appointment to deliver some weapons, but the presence of the soldiers makes the undertaking rather risky. The evening of Billy’s birthday arrives and his friend Baroness Lola (Asli Orcan) takes care of the reception.already appeared in previous episodes.
Among his guests are Petro Borinsky (Birkan Sokullu) and Celil Kamilof (Ushan Çakir). What happens when they meet Seyit? Does Petro go back to being a good friend or does he continue to scheme behind his back?
Will the happy ending come for the girl and the officer?
Episode 18 focuses on the party. When the festivities get underway and the guests are intent on having fun, Seyit with the help of Ali, Yahya and Galip (Edip Tepeli) carries the weapons they had hidden out of the facility previously. Once again, everything seems to go smoothly, but the unexpected shuffles the cards.
They lose track of Galip. Did the boy get into bad trouble? Was he discovered and captured by British soldiers? Meanwhile, while Seyit is focused on the mission to complete, Sura is increasingly closed in her world, overwhelmed by her thoughts. The sense of loneliness is sharpened and he misses his mother and sisters.
In the end, Celil’s negative moment is not over yet. During the party he exaggerates with alcohol. Drunk and out of control, he causes embarrassment to other guests. Seyit comes to his rescue, trying as best he can to save him from himself.
