The girl and the officer, fourteenth episode: plot and cast

La girl and the officer approaches the grand finale. The fourteenth episode – airing tonight at approx 21.50 on Channel 5 – revolves around the wedding between Seyit and Mürvet, and Sura’s reaction to see her man swearing eternal love to another woman. New reversals, therefore, that shuffle the cards for the umpteenth time.

The previous installment left the audience in suspense. Seyit (Kivanc Tatlitug) is about to marry Mürvet (Fahriye Evcen). Sura (Farah Zeynep Abdullah) finds out and rushes to the hotel where the ceremony is taking place. What happens from now on is a constant roller coaster ride that involves everyone, without exception.

Sura arrives at the instant in which Seyit and Mürvet are ready to pronounce the fateful yes and the reaction of those present is anything but calm. The tension is evident. Seyit would like to cancel the wedding, but the future mother-in-law Emine (Zerrin Tekindor) interveneswho invites him to honor his promise, without creating further embarrassment.

In the end, Seyit accepts and, immediately afterwards, decides to go away in company with Mürvet, not caring about the guests. Although the officer chooses his wife, Mürvet does not feel at ease and is taken to his mother’s house. Seyit accepts, but has no intention of staying at Emine’s house, as he is still offended by what happened during the ceremony. A marriage that started under a bad star.

Mürvet is not sure about Seyit’s feelings

Mürvet is gripped by a thousand doubts. She wonders what future awaits her next to Seyit if her past keeps knocking on the door. In fact, she is sure that the story with Sura will cause them several problems. From her side, Seyit takes a few days to reflect. After that he decides to go back to his wife.

He offers her to follow him to Pera, but is forced to go and live at Emine’s house, since Mürvet has no intention of moving elsewhere. Once again, Petro Borinski (Birkan Sokullu) returns. He notices Sura’s suffering and convinces her to go on a vacation with the aim of distracting her. Is it selfless help or is he up to something?

Seyit retraces his steps, but is not sure of the decision. After all, the history with Sura was overwhelming, although troubled. They had to face dozens of obstacles, but the feeling that binds them has never completely died. Therefore, he clarifies within himself and, after an argument, leaves Mürvet.

For the woman it is yet another disappointment to cash in, but she is also aware that her husband has never forgotten Sura. One more reason to no longer be able to trust him and their relationship inexorably cracks. Furthermore, he must stem Ayse’s innuendo (Melisa Asli Pamuk), now married to Hakki (Bora Koçak). The woman insinuates that Seyit will never be a faithful husband. Meanwhile, work calls. And Seyit leaves for Anatolia to train fighters.

Sura, on the other hand, is on vacation with Petro, in an elegant villa, away from the hustle and bustle of the old days in Istanbul. Here comes forward, he confesses his love and asks her to marry him. However, Sura doesn’t feel any gasps. For her Petro is just a friend, he always has been. And his heart beats only for Seyit, despite the fact that he is married to Mürvet.
