“Unique” and “great” are the words that brothers and sisters themselves put it on Saturday when they are together in Garyp for this joyful event. The place where everything started. Where Gerrit Pander first had four children with Janke van der Zwaag. She died during the fourth delivery. Pander remarried Elizabeth Hoekstra and had another ten children. It became a close-knit family of fourteen children, all of whom are still there.
