Created by the Prime Time Entertainment management in collaboration with Blu Yazmine, The Floor – Only one left was born from the mind of John de Mol, the creator – among others – of Big Brother. The program debuted on January 2nd and so far the ratings have been more than positive. 1,126,000 spectators, equal to 7.10% share for the first episode and approximately 1 million for the second and third.
There are several factors that contribute to the success of the format. First the formula. Players must answer general knowledge questions and the viewer can easily relate. To pass the round you need good basic preparation, but above all strong nerves. Tension, in fact, can play tricks and hinder prompt responses.
