The first Hollywood film shot in Finland will premiere

The Hollywood film Dual, which was shot entirely in Finland, will premiere in Tampere on Saturday in Tampere.

The first ever Hollywood film to be shot in Finland Dual will have its European premiere on Saturday 12 February at the Tampere Film Festival. It was first shown at the world premiere at the Sundace Festival in the United States in January.

The film was shot in 2020 in Tampere. Getting that film production to Finland was a lottery win. The locals were also heavily involved in the production, as evidenced, for example, by the influx of people seeking help: Thousands of people even crashed the server.

In the film, an incurably ill person clones himself so that loved ones do not experience such great grief after his death. However, the woman does not die and the problem is getting rid of the clone.

In Finland, the film has been made by about two hundred film professionals and assistants.

Directed and written by the film Riley Stearns as well as its producer Aram Tertzakian are currently in Finland and plan to attend the premiere.
