THEthe world has changed. Everything changed. Unfortunately, we are experiencing the effects of the pandemic and the upcoming war in Ukraine every day. Between frustration, suffering and profound disorientation. What if instead of reacting, we learn to “respond” as Buddhist principles teach, among others?
Or: … and if we began to put at the center of our feeling first of all wisdom, knowledge and listening instead of complaining to the sound of divisive insults (as the social consequences of the current political campaign also demonstrate)?
And if, in reality, these were precisely the values - by no means taken for granted – to face the present moment?
It was born (also) with these premises the first awareness festival scheduled in Padua from 9 to 11 September. In its first edition, with the patronage of the Municipality, it unites visionaries and creatives, coaches and writers, scientists and musicians. People who from their experience have drawn useful lessons for everyone.
The goal is to get to share new ideas to live the present and imagine the future. A bit like the Greek masters did in the agora with their students. One of all: Socrates.
Awareness festival to elevate thinking
The event, free and accessible to all, was conceived not only as a gift to the Venetian city that hosted minds like Galileo Galilei and Petrarca, but as gift for anyone who wants to get out of the mainstream stream and create a new humanism.
Are expected three days of meetings, talks, readings and musical performances like the scenographic “Concert of the twenty pianos” in the central Piazza delle Erbe expected on September 11 at sunset.

The program and the guests
On the days of the Festival, guests they will tell the invisible essence of their personal experience, that “something” that has changed and elevated them, the beauty, the good, the true and the useful of their story, in the belief that this can change even those who listen to them.
