Freelancer Aleksi Mäntykivi28, suffered the defeat at the Cage Warriors promotion’s match night in Manchester, UK.

Mantykivi lost by unanimous vote to Latvia Madars to Fleminas34.

The Finnish fighter has now fought in Cage Warriors five times and left the ring four times as a loser.

In the mostly upright match, Fleminas was the more dominant side and clearly did more damage. Mantykivi also received a few heavy blows, but was unable to take advantage of his own search times.

After the match, Mäntykivi’s face was covered in blood. There were hardly any marks on the Latvian’s face.

In the third round of the match, Fleminas fell to a questionable trick when he jabbed his finger into his opponent’s eye. The act was unintentional, but Mäntykivi was hurt badly. However, the doctor allowed him to continue the match after taking a look at the eye.

Fleminas has now met the fate of two Finnish freestyle wrestlers in Cage Warriors. Last summer, he won his unbeaten bout until then by Jesse Urholin33, in London.
