The Film Academy said it had asked the actor Will Smith to leave the Oscar gala after beating the comedian Chris Rockia. However, Smith had refused the request.
TMZ now, in turn, reports that the Academy’s claim to the request is untrue. In addition to this, the director of the broadcast is said to have told Smith that he could stay.
Those present told TMZ that after the strike, representatives of the Academy had met behind the scenes with representatives of Smith.
Some people would have liked to remove Smith from the opportunity. However, they could not agree on how to proceed.

Later, the actor has apologized for his use on social media.
– I’d like to apologize publicly, Chris. I acted irresponsibly and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions did not reflect the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in the world of love and kindness, the actor wrote.
