Gianni Infantino, the president of the international football association Fifa, has once again shocked with his statements.
Infantino spoke to the press in New Zealand, where the Women’s World Cup kicks off on Thursday. The second host country of the tournament is Australia.
Australia’s players have criticized Fifa for World Cup prize money that is just a quarter of what the men received at the tournament in Qatar last winter.
