The federal government wants to use hospitals to accommodate asylum seekers

The crisis in asylum reception forces all federal ministers to step up a gear. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke (Vooruit) therefore sent an appeal to more than a hundred recognized hospitals in Belgium to free up spaces for refugees. This is evident from correspondence that our editors were able to view. The largest hospitals in Antwerp are already reacting negatively.
