The Bundesverband Onlinehandel eV (BVOH) announced on Friday the appointment of Heidi Kneller-Gronen as the new general manager. The lawyer’s area of ​​responsibility now includes “relieving the burden on the BVOH board and intensifying communication with all players in online trading and politics,” explained the industry organization.

Kneller-Gronen has been “closely linked to e-commerce and also the BVOH” since 2007, according to a statement. “With around 20 years of experience as an interest representative, including 16 years as a lobbyist for an industrial association that represented both large corporations and small and medium-sized companies, as well as as a lawyer in competition/IP law,” the new top official brings “a deep understanding for the diverse needs of companies of all sizes and in the industry” and “on top of that I have profound experience in dealing with politics and other market participants,” explained the association.
