The fate of Miss Finland Petra Hämäläinen’s lost luggage was revealed

Due to the tight exchange schedule, the luggage did not make it onto the plane.

Reigning Miss Finland Petra Hämäläinen made it to the United States without any problems, where the Miss Universe competitions will be held on January 14. However, the same cannot be said about his luggage, which drowned when Hämäläinen headed behind the raft.

– The flights went well, but the luggage is still missing. Fingers crossed that Petra will get her luggage back soon, read Miss Suomen in the announcement published on the official Instagram account.

The race suitcases contain, among other things, all the unique outfits designed for Hämälä. Now the fate of the mysteriously lost luggage has been resolved.

– I spoke with Petra a few hours ago. He said that the suitcases are in Miami and they should arrive in New Orleans today, Sunneva Sjögren says in an interview with Iltalehti.

– The plane first landed in Miami and the changeover time was very tight due to the late flight. Petra’s things didn’t make it on the flight to New Orleans, Sjögren continues.

Although there is still time before the start of the final, there are various representative meetings ahead, where Hämäläinen is supposed to use the outfits that were temporarily lost.

In the midst of the chaos, Sjögren took a moderate approach to the situation.

– This has been done for quite a long time. In 12 years, I’ve gotten used to different customs, Sjögren laughs.

– Fortunately, a Finnair flight is coming from there. They do take care of us. We believe and hope that the goods will find their way there without any problems, Sjögren continues.
