Mounts allow you to move more quickly along the very large Palworld map, so it is better to be equipped with the fastest ones.
Traversing Palworld’s surprisingly large map is much easier if you have a trusty steed or two that can carry you on your back.
The best Palworld mounts —
This not only makes things faster, but also safer, as you can get out of trouble in a flash and order your Pal to attack while you’re riding him.
However, when it comes to mounts, speed is more important than strength, so we’ve chosen the best mount for each type of terrain. This way you can move at maximum speed, regardless of your destination.
The fastest Terra mount
Necromus is the fastest land mount in Palworld, but it is extremely late-game, as you will have to reach level 49 to unlock the saddle that will allow you to ride it. However, if you’re looking for something fast early in the game, we recommend finding a Pyrin or a Direhowl, as both are still pretty fast.
The fastest flying mount
It’s no surprise that Jetragon is the fastest flying mount in Palworld, as it has actual jets on its back. Even in this case, however, he is only found in the late game, as a level 50 boss. The mount that swims the fastest
Azurobe is the fastest swimming mount in Palworld and is available fairly early. It can be caught in a couple of different places and you just need to reach level 24 to unlock the saddle. If you still need options before then, Surfent is the best choice.
The mount that glides the fastest
Galeclaw is the best gliding mount in Palworld. Sure, gliding isn’t as useful when you have a flying mount, but Galeclaw is catchable relatively early, so it’s a good idea to get your hands on a solid one in case you need it.
How to increase the speed of mounts in Palworld —
Among the many passive abilities that Pals can randomly spawn with when you capture them, there are three that can increase their speed:
- Agile – 10% faster
- Runner – 20% faster
- Fast – 30% faster
It may take a while to capture a Pal with this mount and even longer to pass it on to the Pal you want via breeding, but if you succeed, you will be rewarded with the fastest possible movement in Palworld.
