The first episode airs tonight at 9.25pm and at the helm, for the third consecutive year, is Gabriele Corsi. At the center of the program are single farmers looking for a soul mate, willing to leave everything to move to the countryside.

Initially there were 8 aspiring protagonists of the new edition. Five of them prevailed and now they are preparing to meet the other half of the apple. Or at least try. Yes, because despite good intentions, it is not easy to leave the frenetic pace of the city to embrace the calm of the countryside.
In the first two episodes every farmer looking for a wife meets the suitors. After an initial two-way conversation, chooses who can stay inside their home. From the third episode we get to the heart of the format, adapted from Farmer wants a wife and produced by Fremantle.
That is, we get to work in the fields and in close contact with the animals. In short, you immerse yourself completely in the rural reality. And who knows, between one task and another, love might break out. The story of the various stages is entrusted to Gabriele Corsi and his irony.

Who are the 5 singles
The farmers in the cast are: Davide, Filippo, Gianluca and Roberto, plus the farmer Giulia. Davide Codazzi is 28 years old, he comes from Buglio in Monte, in the province of Sondrio, and has never fallen in love. Today he works in the family business, specializing in the production of cheese.
In the past, however, he sought his path elsewhere, far from the mountain pasture and its mountains. For some time he lived in the city and worked at an insurance company. A parenthesis thanks to which he found the necessary stimulus. «It was good for me because it made me see something else and I became aware again of what I want to do when I grow up”, he reveals.
Filippo Minnozzi comes from the province of Livorno (Rosignano Marittimo) and is 31 years old. He defines himself as romantic, stubborn and a sportsman. So far he has achieved all the goals he had set for himself, but he is missing one: building a family. A dream that he has cultivated since he was in his early twenties. He has had some important relationships, but a woman willing to understand his needs has not yet entered his life and to accept his work rhythms.

Gianluca Bettiol, 28 years old, is from Veneto. He lives in Nervesa della Battaglia, in the province of Treviso, and is a tractor driver. «For me it’s like playing», he says, and says he is happy with his job. He has a prosecco company and spends his days among the vineyards. His point of reference is his father, his guide forever.
In the past he had two important stories, but it didn’t go the way he wanted. «I was in lovebut I hope to find a person who can bring out all of me. I hope I can understand what love is again». His nickname is Cyan the Seagullprecisely because the last relationship ended just as it was becoming popular Poor Seagull by Gianni Celeste. He believes in family and can count on the support of friends.
Roberto Del Pero is 45 years old and from Quinzano D’Oglio, in the province of Brescia. He owns a farm and is dedicated to others. His nickname is the gentle giant and surrounds himself with the affection of friends. He is divorced and after a period of solitude he would like to experience the thrill of love again.

Giulia Montecchia, the peasant girl looking for a husband
Last but not least, the only female protagonist of the season. Her name is Giulia Montecchia is 29 years old and lives in San Pietro ad Lacum, in the province of Teramo. He works on his family’s farm, where they produce honey, oil, vegetables and breed horses, his true passion. “The special thing about horses is that when they are near you you no longer think about anything,” he says.
The ranch is the work of her mother, Rina, who built everything when Giulia was only 8 years old. It’s his retreat, which he wouldn’t leave for anything in the world. He hasn’t stopped believing in love, he hopes to have a family and is looking for the right person. The mother defines it as “too fast” and it is difficult for men to keep up with her.
«I have to be good at not letting him escape», says Giulia. “You just can’t take them,” Rina points out. The truth is that Giulia she is a demanding woman. «I demand, I don’t like to settle. The males sleep and so I have to take the first step, but I’m tired.” And therefore she wants a man who loves the countryside, but above all who courts it.
