The missing boy Sebastien left for school in Sleeuwijk on Monday but never arrived there. His family has been searching for him ever since. His stepfather tells that to Omroep Brabant.
14-year-old Sebastien did not leave a note and did not say anything when he left for secondary school Schans in Sleeuwijk. On Monday evening, the police released a report that the boy is missing.
Sebastien has lived with the family in Almkerk for seven years. “He’s a Czech boy, he’s really become a farm boy,” says his stepfather.
“He hasn’t said anything, left nothing behind. We have no leads at all. We’ve been trying to call him all the time, because he has his phone with him, but it’s turned off.” He indicates that they hardly slept at all last night.
The neighbor of the family also heard last night that the boy was missing. “I am very shocked by it. He’s such a sweetheart, a little bit of a shy kid.” His stepfather adds, “He’s easily impressionable.”
