Former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández awaits his extradition to the United States in a high-security cell in the capital Tegucigalpa. He is charged with active collaboration with drug mafia that smuggled hundreds of tons of cocaine into the US. The ex-president was arrested by a policeman he had previously chased out of the country. Hernández is risking his possible extradition under a law he himself voted to show that he dared to take a stand against the drug mafia.
