The 151-minute feature film is partly autobiographical and takes up the director’s childhood. It accompanies the eponymous Fabelman family from New Jersey to Arizona and finally to California from the 1950s. Starring: Gabriel LaBelle, Michelle Williams, Paul Dano. It tells the coming-of-age story of a young director whose family circumstances become the basis of a worldview shaped by empathy.
