Guitarist and songwriter Frankie Sullivan was left hundreds of thousands of dollars poorer when his home was visited by burglars.
Police sources say TMZ, that the thieves who broke into an apartment in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley walked away with more than $300,000 in wristwatches. Converted to euros, the value is approximately 271,000 euros. According to police sources, burglars who entered through the window stole the valuable watches earlier in December.
The newspaper says that the police believe that behind the robbery is a group of South American burglars who target the homes of wealthy people. They allegedly use roads in mountainous areas built for rescue vehicles.
Burglars torment the rich in Los Angeles. Earlier in December, thieves attacked the home of actor Keanu Reeves in the Hollywood Hills area.
Police are urging people to install cameras around their properties. They also advise installing alarms on glass doors and windows on the second floor. According to the police, property owners should also ensure that the surroundings of the houses are well lit.
